And I think a lot of people watched the game last night. I imagine most people who watched French came away very impressed. For those that watch SLU on the reg you may remember him as a freshman.
He played almost the whole game as a freshman because of their roster deficiencies. He was decent. Actually very similar to Kobe Brown. His counting stats were better because he doubled him up in minutes. Kobe is quicker, was stronger on a by age comparison, and has more range. Also he can’t hit a free throw. Point being that there are pieces on this team that have a chance to be great.
In today’s world if a freshman doesn’t put up 15 a game people write them off. Give guys time to develop. Guys like Brown, Jackson and Pinson all have high ceilings given the time to develop. People talk about if Zo doesn’t make the tournament next year he will be fired. Honestly I don’t think that will happen because the talent is here.
That being said we will probably lose by 20 today.
