I was impressed by CY Young today. Yeah, just words... but impressed. And with his dedication and belied in Gates, having known him up close and personal... I have to believe we may have a dynamic duo on our hands and it could be something special. And I think the ball players out there will know it too...
SO... playing around a bit... we know that kU will get hit with something (more than likely not what they should, but something)... and if it is a ban from the tourney, players may hit the portal or decommitt. If you are Gates, do you hold a position or two open hoping to nail one of the big names, knowing you can fill it with a portal player if it does not work out? Or do you fill the spots and move forward now? As long as they get the guard they need.... what is the down side to waiting with a spot open? Harris is a Sophomore and maybe we could bring him home.. and Braun is only a Junior (I'M JOKING, NOT HIM)... but you get the idea...
