I get looking out for your friend and stuff. But (and maybe he did) maybe try to help your understudy/new coach at a program you're still involved with?
Shipp has creditentials and Odom could have done far, far worse. But even though I say a kid makes it to the NFL not the school gets someone to the NFL. Kul was the best at teaching technique. The kids did the rest beyond that. Again not knocking shipp.
Just interesting that Gary calls a former opponent and says hire this guy. Of course Kul could be ended up in the SEC so it could've been worse.
