1. Mizzou is still turning the ball over too much. 18 turnovers is never ok. It's beyond terrible against a D-II squad.
2. After two incredible shooting performances, we now have two terrible games in a row. To put things in perspective...if Mizzou simply shoots 70% from the line and 30% from 3 (both mediocre), they win this one by 20. Perhaps more if Emporia mailed it in. But they didn't. And that has to change.
3. Wasn't going to say it during, but they lacked energy and focus for much of the game. I imagine there's some distraction, be it with Porter or perhaps more likely, looking forward to games that count...with a nice slate upcoming this weekend. Credit to Nikko for bringing energy and helping turn this from an embarrassing loss to something we can just forget about. Harris too.
