With Gabe alluding to the fact that there's a possibility of Lock being the only QB on the roster come 2016, how do we go about this from a recruiting standpoint? Continue to pursue the Tennessee kid that's been talked about on here who we've flirted with for awhile now that has mainly FCS offers? Or do we try to get back in on a higher profile guy that's likely committed elsewhere by now? We're a little late to the party QB hunting nearly halfway thru the season with the way kids commit earlier and earlier all the time these days.
I've always been of the belief there's two positions you never under recruit. QB and OL. At least one QB a year, and at least 4 OL. Land the best you can possibly get, let the cream rise to the top, and let the numbers sort themselves out however they may. But those are two spots where you never want to get caught with your pants down facing a severe lack of depth or you'll likely be flirting with disaster more years than not. Should be interesting to see how it all shakes out.
