Softball signs Kentucky transfer

COLUMBIA, Mo. – University of Missouri Softball Head Coach Larissa Anderson and her staff announced Saturday the signing of transfer outfielder Taylor Ebbs.

No stranger to the SEC, Ebbs heads to Mizzou after spending the past three seasons at Kentucky.

The Keizer, Oregon, native, hit a career best .311 (.364 on-base percentage, .656 slugging percentage) over 39 games in 2024 with 31 RBI. Ebbs made 27 starts and tallied eight multi-hit games.

She notched eight home runs in 2024 including a trio of round trippers over four games between the Western Kentucky midweek (April 17) and the Auburn series (April 20-22).

Ebbs commenced the campaign with a solo shot in the opening day victory over No. 3 Stanford (Feb. 9).

She has registered a career-best three hits four times including most recently against Georgia on April 12.

Ebbs notched a personal-best five RBI against Western Kentucky on April 17, tallying a two-run double and a three-run homer.

Over her collegiate career with the Wildcats, she appeared in 146 games (119 starts), batting .272 with 90 hits, 54 runs, 19 doubles, 25 home runs and 85 RBI.

Ebbs earned Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year and was the No. 40 ranked player in the country by Extra Inning Softball coming out of high school.
