Plucked this quote from a WaPo article about Trump having regrets about the escalation of trade tensions with China.
“Asked if he was rethinking the way tensions had escalated between the two countries, Trump responded “Yeah, sure why not. Might as well. Might as well. I have second thoughts about everything.”
That’s what you want to hear from the guy with the nuke codes! Good grief.
Thing is... I have no problem with the rationale behind the trade wars. But he’s been an inept communicator as to the “why” to the American people, and now apparently he’s questioning his own approach!
