I've lived in Chicago for the last 14 years. Raised in St. Joe, parents have since moved back to St. Louis where other family lives. I grew up a football Cardinals fan until they left and was never much of a Rams fan.

Second City refers to Chicago being rebuilt after Chicago Fire of 1871 burned most of the city to the ground.

Parents, brother, and sisters still live there.

No. I thought my original post referencing St. Louis as the Second City in Missouri was a give away. I guess not. I'm aware that Second City really refers to Chicago.
