After a late night watching the Chiefs on Monday Night Football, longtime local sports radio personality and longtime friend of the Club Todd Leabo was the guest speaker at the Tiger Club of KC today. Leabo is with powerhouse Sports Radio 810 WHB, where he produces Between the Lines from 2 to 6 pm weekdays.
Though he headed off to Mizzou-rival Oklahoma for college, Leabo’s roots are in Kansas City. He is a 1988 grad of Truman High School and he returned to this area after graduating from OU in 1992. He began his career with WDAF-TV 4, then joined KCTE-AM 1510 in 1998, moving over to the 810 signal when Union Broadcasting purchased WHB in 1999.
The Tiger Club of KC meets each Tuesday at the Westport Flea Market Bar and Grill. Lunch starts at 11:30 a.m. with the program at noon. Our featured speaker next Tuesday, November 27 will be Terez Paylor, Senior NFL writer for YahooSports.
