I have a very good friend (former player of mine who now coaches football at Northern Illinois) who is coming to visit me with his wife and three boys (ages 5, 10, and 12) in mid July and they want to plan a little 3-4 trip in St. Louis,
I live nearby but am certainly no expert on the best things to do with a family with three boys those ages.
Off the top of my head I suggested:
1) The Zoo
2) The Arch
3) Cards game and Ball Park Village
4) Science Center
5) Magic House
6) Grant's Farm
7) Six Flags & Hurricane Harbour Water Park (is there a better waterpark for young kids?)
8) St. Louis Aquarium at Union Station?
9) Katy Trail out of Old St. Charles?
10) Forrest Park?
What am I missing...and what is good and bad on my list above?
ALSO NEEDING GOOD RECCOMENDATIONS for reasonably priced a kid friendly places to stay and eat.
Any help is much appreciated...they are coming in around July 14th-16th or 17th/
Thanks in advance!
