What a colossal dumpster fire of a movie.
1) Palpatine is back. Great, how? Unclear. We’re just supposed to accept it.
2) Rey, of course, has to be related to someone important. She can’t just be another person.
3) The Emperor fvcks. Glad to know.
4) Not only is TLJ swept under the rug, all the cool things about it are reversed. “Kill the past?” Jk, didn’t mean it.
5) Adam Driver was never in any danger of being an actual bad guy.
6) No one is allowed to be dead and gone. They can always come back as a ghost. In fact, nothing bad can ever happen to anyone. Not even a robot.
I could go on and on. Bottom line, this was a mishmash of fan boy service and IP protection, all of which combined into a terrible movie.
