I think it's also interesting how much more concentrated talent seems to be becoming at Alabama. Nick Saban got there in 2007 and Bama had ZERO guys drafted after the 2007 season (in the 2008 draft). The BAR for competing for a national title is putting 10 guys in the draft every single year. A decade ago, when we were actually discussing national titles it was a different animal. It's interesting that Georgia has essentially been doing a slightly better job in terms of brining in 5 stars over the past few years but it doesn't seem to be showing up YET in the total amount of talent being output by the program. According to the recruiting rankings, the big Georgia uptick started in 2018 and they've had an advantage since then so it will be interesting to see how that plays out.
