Couple quick hoops refresher notes:

We updated the Rivals150 for 2020 this week. You can see where the Mizzou targets landed here.

We posted earlier this week that Kalkbrenner was in town on an unofficial visit. Still tough to handicap his recruitment with so many new options of late. Most of these kids aren't making any sort of decisions now until the summer is over and they are done with AAU ball and can take some visits.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING

OFFICIAL VISITORS

- The four-star defensive end gave his verbal pledge to TCU over a month ago, but is obviously keeping his options open as he heads to Columbia this weekend. Before committing to the Horned Frogs, LSU, Texas A&M, and Oklahoma State were coming after Sylvester hard.

- Hill is coming off a recent official visit to South Carolina, a program he's been to multiple times already this year. Naturally, there is a lot of buzz surrounding the Gamecocks and Hill, who came out and called SC his leader. But, this weekend, he's giving Missouri a hard look as he looks to make a college decision during the summer.

- There is a lot of mystery surrounding Sparkman since he doesn't do any interviews. He did visit Arkansas unofficially earlier this spring, but Missouri appears to be the only official he has scheduled right now.

- We're putting Davis on commit watch this weekend and for good reason. The three-star prospect is a native of Lee's Summit and grew up a Missouri fan. He has established a great relationship with the coaching staff since Ryan Walters extended an offer during the spring evaluation period.

- Wren committed to Louisiana Tech coming out of Mesquite (Tex.) Horn high school before going the JUCO route. Now, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound prospect has two power five options in Missouri and Oregon State. He'll be in Columbia this weekend and is scheduled to visit Oregon State on the 21st. The Tigers appear to be recruiting Wren as a wide receiver. He recently camped at Alabama and worked out as a linebacker, but didn't receive an offer.

- The three-star running back recently released a top five that included Missouri, Tennessee, Kentucky, Louisville, South Carolina, and Mississippi State. He also picked up a new offer from Purdue earlier this week. Young has built a good relationship with Cornell Ford since Missouri offered him back in January.

- The underrated safety target has accumulate 27 offers that include some notable power five programs like Maryland, Minnesota, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse, Duke, and Vanderbilt. He recently camped at Duke and Missouri is the only official visit that Jones has scheduled for now.

BILLINGSLEY COMMITS

- The East St. Louis defensive end committed this morning. Barry Odom is on a roll in June. We're going to try to catch up with Billingsley for some comments today. Will keep you posted.

NEWS AND NOTES

- There was a lot of buzz about Wooten possibly committing to Missouri during or shortly after his official visit based off his Twitter activity, but it appears that he will at least take another official visit to Texas Tech this month.

- Newman picked up an offer from Missouri last week during an unofficial visit. His father and uncle are former Mizzou football players, but the three-star prospect chose to stay closer to home and committed to UCLA last night.

- Arinze took his first official visit to Arizona State this week. The in-state DL prospect recently took an unofficial visit to Missouri.

CAMP COVERAGE

Sean Williams and Mitchell Forde will be on campus all weekend for camp coverage at Missouri. The Tigers will host two Elite Camps on Friday and Sunday along with a 7on7 tournament, a big man and specialists camp on Saturday. They'll pass along any relevant info from the camps over the next three days and have some stories going forward.
