Big weekend. We've got visitors. Let's get to it.

FOOTBALL RECRUITING

- Missouri has extended some new offers among the JUCO ranks in recent days, here is a snapshot of the recent targets:

OL: Keyshawn Blackstock, Coffeyville (Kan.) C.C. - Prepped at Newton (Ga.). Has picked up recent offers from Missouri, Auburn, UCF, Houston, Liberty, South Florida, UTSA, and others. Told us he is interested in Mizzou, but is going to see what other options come as his season plays out.

Judea Milton, Tyler (Tex.) J.C. - Has grown around 2-3 inches and added 20 pounds to his frame since he's been in college. His offers consist mostly of G5 programs until recently when Kansas and Missouri extended.

DE: Nnanna Anyanwu, Coffeyville (Kan.) C.C. - Has picked up recent offers from UTSA, Georgia Southern, Jacksonville State, and Troy. Missouri is his first power five offer, which could hold some weight moving forward.

CB: Kendel Dolby, NE Oklahoma A&M - In recent weeks, Dolby has picked up notable offers from Washington State, Houston, Liberty, Kansas, and Missouri. The mid-year enrollee said he's very interested in Missouri and intrigued with playing in the SEC.

- Missouri also extended an offer to 2023 defensive end Taje McCoy out of Putnam City (Okla.). The three-star prospect also possesses offers from Memphis, Iowa State, Baylor, K-State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, and others. However, Missouri is the first offer he's reported publicly since March, so we're not sure if he's necessarily a take at the other programs listed, but he's put together some nice film early on this season.

- CBC WR Jeremiah McClellan is one of Missouri's top priorities in the 2024 class and the fight to land him continues to get tougher with Ohio State extending an offer earlier this week. Notre Dame, Michigan, Michigan State are some of his other notable offers currently and while there is a lot of intrigue and intention to check out the Buckeyes this fall. The four-star prospect told Rivals.com midwest analyst Clint Cosgrove that a return trip to Missouri is expected this fall as well.

- As for visits this weekend, here is who we expect in town:

Brett Norfleet
Logan Reichert
Jahkai Lang
Aneyas Williams
Whit Hafer
Brian Huff
Tionne Gray

- All visits are unofficial. There will likely be some others in town as well. If we see any others on campus, we will pass that news along. Wouldn't really expect any commitments or anything, although with the family ties to Mizzou, we'd be surprised to see Hafer end up elsewhere.

BASKETBALL RECRUITING

Things are also ramping up this weekend for Dennis Gates and staff. There will be big-time visitors in town each of the next three weekends. Here are the players we know will be here this week:

Jordan Butler

Butler is the only 2023 prospect in town for an official visit this weekend. He has previously visited South Carolina. The Gamecocks appear to be the biggest competition, though we wouldn't write off Florida State. That said, it wouldn't be a shock to see Butler end up at Mizzou following this visit. We're supposed to talk to him on Sunday. We'll pass along any news we can as soon as we have it. We wrote about Butler back in May. He's a stretch four and kind of the prototype of what Gates is looking for in a big man. Would be a really nice piece to add to the current 2023 class.

Marcus Allen

Allen has started to see his recruitment pick up with recent offers from Stanford and Villanova, but still hasn't blown up the way you might expect a top 40 player to. He has been pretty quiet on his recruitment, but has taken an official visit to Miami. Allen's mom works at the school and distance is clearly one of the questions the Tigers will have to face, but it may not be a huge factor as he's playing his final two seasons for AZ Compass Prep rather than in Florida. He has a very good relationship with C.Y. Young and has spoken highly of the Tigers in the past. We're supposed to talk to Allen on Monday.

Antonio Barrett

Barrett is an Oklahoma kid with in-state offers similar to 2023 commit Trent Pierce. He's been high on Mizzou and long been talking about taking a visit. We're supposed to catch up with him on Sunday for some reaction.

-Sunrise prep big man John Bol was originally supposed to visit this weekend, but had a conflict and rescheduled the trip for next weekend.

-We've heard there may be some other unofficial visitors in town this weekend, but haven't nailed anything down yet. If we can get more on that today or this weekend, we will obviously pass that news along.
