FOOTBALL RECRUITING
It was tough summer for Missouri when it came to OL recruiting, however, they broke through in a big way on Thursday evening by landing the commitment of Raytown (Mo.) Rivals250 product Logan Reichert.
PowerMizzou.com was on-hand for extensive coverage of Reichert's announcement, here are the links to the stories and content below, ICYMI:

Reichert is a Tiger
Live Stream of Reichert's commitment
We will have more next week in a longer form feature on Reichert from @JHamilton23
- Keeping with the "top priority, in-state" theme, Rivals250 safety Marvin Burks was back at Missouri for the Tigers' season opener against Louisiana Tech. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz returned the favor on Friday night, stopping by Cardinal Ritter's game in a 29-7 win over Vashon to watch Burks in action. The four-star is still playing things close to the vest in his recruiting process, but we're hearing things are trending in a very positive direction for Missouri. Reichert managed to keep his commitment mostly quiet for three months. It wouldn't be a shock if Burks has done the same.
- We are also monitoring current Illinois commit Antwon Hayden. He's long been considered a flip possibility and Eli Drinkwitz was at ESL last weekend. While many hope he's trying to flip Miles McVay (and he probably is) Hayden is the more likely candidate.
- Mizzou DE target Jordan Allen committed to Kansas State on Monday following his official visit with the Wildcats last weekend. Not a big surprise here as Allen took June officials to Iowa State, Iowa, and Missouri. He included those three schools and K-State among the Top 4 he released on July 4th. He visited Manhattan unofficially in late July before returning for his official this past weekend.
- New cornerback target Tyler Scott, a current Arkansas State commit, was a guest of Georgia Tech on Monday night for their game against Clemson. This process will seemingly extend into the fall as Scott has picked up other new offers from Mississippi State, Auburn, Vanderbilt, and UCF. A visit to Miss. State is expected soon.
- Missouri extended a new 2023 offer earlier this week to Ramsay (Ala.) OL Anthony Miles, who is currently committed to Vanderbilt. It seems the three-star prospect is definitely continuing to look around at other options as he was in attendance for Georgia Tech's game against Clemson on Monday night as well. Mississippi State is another school that is continuing to make a push as well. Miles told us that he is interested in Missouri and plans to "look into their program and go on from there." We'll see where things go moving forward.
- The Tigers are also looking to the JUCO ranks for talent as well, having extended an offer to Tyler (Tex.) Junior College offensive lineman Judea Milon on Thursday night. UAB, Memphis, and Arkansas State are his notable offers currently as interest has picked up with his fall film being released.
BASKETBALL RECRUITING
The main intrigue here right now is with Macaleab Rich. The East St. Louis forward visited Missouri officially a couple weeks ago. He was at Ole Miss last weekend, Kansas State this weekend and UIC next weekend. There have been mixed messages on Rich. Coming off the visit, we had a source tell us he would likely end up at Missouri unless Kansas State blew him away. But coming off the Ole Miss visit, there was some word that it was Ole Miss and Kansas State and Missouri wasn't really even in the picture. We've had a couple sources tell us that while one other source told us that wasn't accurate. It seems that different people in Rich's camp are sending out different signals. At this point, it's impossible to say which is accurate. Rich has never returned any of our messages either leading up to the visit to Mizzou or coming off of it. The one constant has seemed to be Kansas State. Maybe that's a sign, maybe it isn't. Ole Miss would seem a bit surprising simply because Kermit Davis has an uphill battle to save his job. But with the free transfer rules in effect, maybe that's not as big a deal. It will be one of those three schools on September 26. We'll do our best to get more information leading up to that date.
- Still in a holding pattern on Kris Parker and Arrinten Page. Page doesn't seem super likely to us at this point. With Parker, there was a time we considered him a virtual lock. In fact, one source basically guaranteed us he was going to Mizzou. But he's got a trip to Alabama next weekend and we don't know of a visit scheduled to Columbia at this time (doesn't mean there isn't one, just that we aren't aware).
- Next weekend will be a big 2024 weekend with John Bol, Marcus Allen and Antonio Barrett in town. No reason to expect commitments from any of them this early, but we'll do our best to track them down after the weekend.
- Earlier this week we shared a story on Annor Boateng. Mizzou is really pushing with him and would like to line up a visit. We'll keep you posted.
