1. Called a timeout after a first down...why? The clock had stopped on the first down, why burn your last timeout? What happens if you take a sack now?
2. Says if they get to the 40 they're going to kick a FG, then gets to the 38 and spikes the ball, then plans on running another play and stands around with his thumb in his ass and gets a delay of game.
3. After the debacle and the 5 yard penalty, runs another play with 6 seconds left, luckily falls incomplete and 3 seconds remain.
4. Kicks a 61 yard field goal

The most egregious part of this entire sequence was calling his last timeout after a first down, yet I don't think the media asked him about it because they were dumbfounded by the spike and delay of game.

I have no idea why you call a timeout there, especially your last. Did he think he had more?

Yes, I know we won, who cares, etc. Mevis bailed out Drink from a series of boneheaded moves, it's something that is concerning in the future imo, as more close games are likely in league play.
