I am clearly not a lawyer. But I don't understand how Texas and Oklahoma are going to get out of signing their Media rights over to the Big XII. Wasn't that done so that if they went to a new conference, the new conference wouldn't be able to pay them? It would seem that the Big XII and Fox would have a significant legal argument against the two schools and (maybe?) the SEC... I know that right now there is people saying ESPN will pony up for more $$$... but that assumes Fox is still willing to pay the Big XII for their current contract, and I cannot believe that is true.

I am guessing this could make some lawyers some very serious dinero...
