He said it was a toss up, literally neck and neck, but the deciding factor was that UT has a history of getting big men into the NBA.
At first I’m like what current big men? Mo Bamba was a one and done and nothing happened at UT made that more possible. KD is a big man but plays the wing. Tristian Thompson has had a decent but not spectacular career. But the larger point is, none of their current coaches had anything to do with this. I mean maybe Frank Haith when he was under Barns but if you count this then CY and Gates need credit for the big men they put into the NBA like Jonathan Isaac.
If someone could clue me in on what I am missing that would be great.
