The transfer portal

I was listening to a Denver sports talk show about an hour ago and Dave Logan was talking about the impact of the portal on recruiting. Logan is a former CU and Cleveland Brown player and has coached high school football in the Denver area for several years, and just won his 10th state championship (he’s done in a four different schools). He said he was talking with a head coach at a major college program who said his school has four full time people on staff who do nothing but scour the portal and refer potential prospects to the applicable position coach.
