Behind the scenes, Odom needs to take over as DC just like he did last season. It made a huge difference and salvaged the season. Assuming this works again, he needs to stay in this role and not try to completely outsource the role to someone who is not competent. Walters can get partial credit for a turnaround if it happens, but right now the pass defense, Walter’s main responsibility, is obviously atrocious.
