I think the scheme works but it has to be anchored by talent. That one season at app I do think/hope it was a proof of concept. And in this conference the talent scale is different - he definitely had the talent at app. The issue is definitely a talent deficit. But can't fire him. In the 3 yrs he's been coach, been the three highest rating recruiting classes ever. With that said - What is mind numbing to me is it seems like there's an inability to adjust the scheme to fit this team to win now. I don't know if that comes with years of experience or what. He needs time. The optics on the other end after firing Barry to then turn around and fire him would be digging our own grave.
