Stewart Mandel in his Mandel's Mailbag in today's Athletic, was asked;

It seems every year there’s always one didn’t-think-it-could-happen upset in Week 1 of the college football season. Which “cupcake” do you think has the best chance to put its opponent on Upset Alert in Game 1?

Brian S., Buford, Ga. Barberito’s >>> Chipotle. Don’t @ me.

his reply.....

Let’s start with Missouri (-15) at Wyoming. This will be the much-anticipated Mizzou debut for ex-Clemson QB Kelly Bryant, and I’m sure the assumption is he’ll throw for 300 yards, run for 150 and the Tigers cruise past the Cowboys. But just the fact this game is in Laramie, in one of those primetime CBS Sports Network games you won’t realize is happening until the third quarter, is worth something. Wyoming slipped from 8-5 to 6-6 last season but was also replacing first-round QB Josh Allen with a pair of freshmen. Craig Bohl is a good coach. It could happen.
