This has been building for sometime and this summer has reached a crescendo...at least so far. This “don’t question me or you are a sexist, bigot, homophobe or racist” line of “argument has been building for a good while. The “me too movement”, actually was used as a political tool in the kavanaugh hearing. The left used the “you have to believe all women” as dem senator after dem senator swore that they believed the women who claimed the judge was an out of control sexual Predator. They went so far as to claim to believe Michael Avenatti and a bimbo he claimed had Witnessed rape rooms 4 decades earlier. The main stream media ran with these stories as fact. It was as though it was all settled, the guy they hated for his judicial philosophy was a sexual predator. He would have to prove he was not a sexual predator because “the news” and the democrat senators were enlightened and one after the other said the believe the accusers.

But the current BLM movement is an over the top political response making it totally unacceptable to question any facet of the wildest command it’s leaders or enlightened politicians make. You saw Garzetti who was famous for saying he would keep LA locked down all summer, kneeling down to pay homage to the movement sans mask..oh the horror of no social distance or facial covering ..until it came to showing his submission to the unquestioned truth.
all the silly symbolism, including jerking down or defacing statues of long dead people not learned in the “hands up don’t shoot” “truth” , including those of an early abolitionist and US Grant, renaming buildings in a rush, maybe Yale, are made seem not only wise but a righteous movement to cancel out any vestige of white oppression.
The oddballs walking around with ak 47s in their 6 block “country” In Seattle is seen as normal, even sanctioned by governor and mayor as some sort of love fest. People raped and killed cannot get police to respond in this cordoned off area because the punks in charge don’t allow “pigs” in.
The scene in Minneapolis rightfully moved the country to anger. Yet young black men are killed by the score each month in several US cities. The number killed by police i believe is about 2 % of that total. You cannot talk about the huge problem of senseless black killings that has nothing to do with police or you are simply a racist.
It’s definitely a religion for many practicing this latest form of dogma. It’s the “me too” movement on steroids. The last thing people in bad neighborhoods need is no cops. The last thing everyone wants are bad cops. To say that to the defund the pigs BLM movement leftists makes you a racist.
The point is once this fervor takes on the absolutist attitude of my way or the highway we see now..there can be no argument. There can be no questioning about propriety, reach or actions no matter how well reasoned.
It is important that Mao gave people the promise of equality in all things and a better country...but you had to totally accept the dogma of his communism. No dissent was tolerated. In that case millions found out the price of argument was death.
