Back when Cuonzo was hired, and shortly thereafter, I was talking with some friends/fellow Mizzou fans...
We were discussing the perfect class with what was remotely possible, at the time. No predictions, just the best possible class.
What we settled on:
Roberts
Smith
Michael Porter
Jontay Porter
Jeremiah Tilmon
I didn't really expect it to come to fruition, and I guess technically it didn't. But we're pretty damn close, when you consider the one we didn't land was filled with Robertson and Harris. It may actually be better.
It doesn't really come as a surprise now having followed it for two months. But think back to when you heard Cuonzo was the choice. Think in that frame of mind.
