I'm of the opinion that this is horrible for HCBO and Mizzou. How do we sell kids to ignore going to the blue bloods, whe we have coaches jumping ship going to the blue bloods. What would've been nice, if Brian Odom would've came out and said no thanks to the OU job. It helps the perception with kids interested in Mizzou knowing our coaches were bring courted by blue bloods but chose to stay. To add to that, it was the head coach brother. How do we become an Oklahoma or Alabama if we keep losing coaches to schools like that.

The other thing is if it was a money issue we'll never catch up because other schools have more resources than us. We all have to do our part, if it just means showing up to more games and filling up the stadium, every dollar helps. I was listening to a sports radio station recently and the question was posed why can't Mizzou be like the other SEC schools? The radio host answer was, it just means more to those schools, to the fans, to the administration and to the area, and I agree with that answer.
