Michigan split the national title in 1997 with Nebraska. Probably deserved to win the whole thing, but we’ll kick that aside for now.
Before that, you have to go back to 1948 for a Michigan national championship.
I always thought of them as a blue blood, and they have the most wins in CFB history, but one (split) natty in 75 years is crazy.
