That was awful. Outside of Brady Cook running the ball well and having Harrison Mevis on the roster, Mizzou has done nothing well.

A coach that spent a full month telling us he had to open up the offense and take some chances leads to an offense that has thrown one pass more than six yards beyond the line of scrimmage. On that one pass, it was either overthrown to an open receiver, short-armed by said open receiver or some combination of both.
I think Missouri started the wrong running back.
I think Kansas State is better on the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball and at running back and at quarterback and in the secondary.
I think this defense is still probably better than last year, but right now it looks closer to last year than last week.
I think a holding penalty is what is still making this a game. If the Cats went up 21-3, it was over. They didn't and so with 37 minutes left to play, there's still some semblance of a chance. But Missouri better find something fast during this delay. Because right now, this is the worst-case scenario and the post game column is going to be UGLY.
