"I'm freaking. Yeah I'm proud of my football team. Really freaking proud. I mean they fought their butts off in a hostile crowd. Down. You know--didn't start the way we wanted to. 2nd half--didn't start the way we wanted to. They freaking fought their butt off! Blocked a field goal and gave us a chance to win the game! We didn't get it done. No reason to hang our heads. No reason to panic...no reason to jump on Twitter and go crazy. Like--Relax. Week 2. On the road. Night SEC football game vs a good opponent--We had a chance to win. We didn't get it done. We'll go back to work tomorrow and we'll go to fixing it. And that's what we're gonna do! Lot of football season left. Whole heckuva lot of football season left. And I tell you what---I saw a bunch of FIGHTERS in that locker room! Bunch of freaking fighters on the sideline and that's a football team that's gonna improve and get better. They're gonna fight to improve and get better. I don't know how many games we're gonna win. But we're gonna FIGHT!"

Mizzou should have been blown out yesterday. Kentucky was BY FAR the better team. The statistics will tell you just how much more talent Kentucky had. Mizzou was blown off the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. But every time you thought Mizzou was down for the count---they'd come back and fight. Kentucky attempted the game sealing short field goal late in the game to go up 10 points with just a couple minutes left. Game over--right? NOPE. MIZZOU somehow blocked that field goal and were driving late with a real chance to win the game. Are you freaking kidding me?
I have gotta say...Mizzou has a real bona fide football coach leading this team.
Keep building. Keep fighting. Get some more impact recruits and the future is extremely bright at MIZZOU.
PROUD of my TEAM.
Let's GO!!!!!!!!!!
