Have some pre-Chamber visit info for you all.
We've previously confirmed two visits
Noel is on a visit to Tulane right now. He'll be in Columbia tomorrow and Saturday. We don't know of any other trips. I'd be surprised if he doesn't end up at Mizzou. Could very well happen this weekend, but as you all know, announcements occur when they occur and are beyond anyone's control.
He was scheduled to be at Ohio State yesterday, Pitt today, Texas A&M tomorrow and Mizzou Saturday. He's versatile and can play inside or outside.
Scourton has committed to Texas A&M. He will not take his remaining visits, which included a trip to Mizzou.
Here are a couple others I'm hearing will be in town over the weekend. Do not know specific days on all of them yet. These transfer visits are generally closer to 24 hours than 48.
Manuel is 6-9, 310 and absolutely huge. He's currently visiting Florida and will head to Mizzou after that trip (at least as of now). At that size, I've got to think he's a tackle. I know the plan is for Cayden Green to be the left tackle. So if they get Manuel, that could lend some credence to looking at Armand Membou on the interior. I've been told Jayven Richardson can play inside or outside too.
Young is one of the first portal targets Missouri reached out to when he entered. He was supposed to visit before the dead period, but had a family situation that caused him to cancel. Excellent sign Missouri is getting him back on campus.
Transfer visits are REALLY tough. What's true today might not be true tomorrow. So it is certainly possible that some of these guys don't end up making these trips. We'll confirm when they get here as best we can. On the flip side, there are certainly guys that are not on the list that will be in town this weekend. With KAD's decision to go pro official, I believe Missouri is going to be in the market for another cornerback in addition to Toriano Pride. We could see news there. I think there will likely be more defensive line targets on campus not only this weekend, but potentially later this month too. Remember, this weekend is not the end of the portal shopping by any means (unless you hit home runs and lock up absolutely everything you want).
*With KAD having declared, we're waiting on Ty'Ron Hopper (he's gone), Theo Wease (pretty sure he's back) and Harrison Mevis (I think he's gone, but it's not certain).
*As far as Blake Baker goes, I'd be surprised if we don't have resolution one way or the other by Saturday. I don't know what that resolution will be. I'm not sure anyone does. At this point, I'm not sure Blake does. But I don't think this is gonna drag out past the next 36-48 hours.
That's where we stand right now. We'll have updates and additions tomorrow morning in a full @the chamber
