Ok...I am going to be that guy and complain. I don't think I have ever participated in a thread complaining about fans, but I just did not understand our crowd last night. First of all...the crowd looked good...it wasn't the super late arriving crowd that we normally have.
I mean...when our players came out of the tunnel last night....I felt good for them. There were actually people in their seats cheering loudly. Sounded and looked like big time college football.
I know we can have great crowds with great enthusiasm...and last night was example.
Until............we got a 28 to 7 lead and still the 3rd quarter...the place began emptying like rats jumping off a sinking ship.
I think that actually is as bad as not showing up. Where is everyone going? Do you really think the game is over at that point?
If you do...you don't really know much about football. If you are leaving because you really just don't care that much.....that is another discussion.
I could see leaving if we were down 3 scores (I wouldn't...but I am not normal)........but as a fan why would you not want to stay around and see your team win? Again..I just don't understand.
I know that was probably not anyone on this board. We are the diehards...........so the "you" doesn't really mean anyone here.
