1. Against a representative defense, this might be the best game of Drew Lock's career. He was nearly perfect. Now Wyoming isn't a great team and he's not going to get a ton of national credit for it, but this was a top ten defense that brought back eight starters and he absolutely shredded it without much help from a running game. Final numbers: 33/45, 398 yards, 4 touchdowns, 0 turnovers and a 177 QB rating. The offense crossed midfield on every single drive.

2. Emanuel Hall was fifth in the country in receiving after last week and he'll move up this week. Second straight game of 171 yards. He is the first Mizzou receiver with back to back 170 yard games since Danario Alexander did so in 2009. He did it on a variety of routes and he was simply uncoverable.

3. There will be some concern about Tucker McCann going 2/4, but both misses were longer than 45 yards and it was a windy night at Faurot. Something to watch, but nothing I'm alarmed about yet.

4. I don't know how much stock to put in the defensive effort. They were good, don't get me wrong. Wyoming also simply had nobody that seemed to be a real threat at all offensively. But it's improvement because we saw teams that weren't all that good offensively last year do much better against the Tigers.

5. One thing I did like was increased pressure. Nate Anderson and Chris Turner both got sacks. Missouri used some blitzes, bringing linebackers, corners and safeties at time. They didn't empty the cupboard or anything, but they did put some things on film that Purdue is going to have to account for.

6. Missouri has done exactly what it needed to through two weeks. These two games were about winning and looking good doing it. Mizzou did. I said the first game needed to be over at halftime and this one needed to be over at the start of the fourth quarter. That's exactly what occured. So mission accomplished so far. The biggest game of the season is seven days away. I'd expect Mizzou to be about a 10 point favorite.
