Seen a lot of talk that Reed is better than Tilmon was and things along those lines
In the last six games, Nikko is averaging 9 pts, 6.3 rebounds in 23 minutes. He has fouled out of four consecutive games.
In 13 games this year (11 starts), Tilmon was averaging 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds and 22 minutes and fouled out of one game. Worth noting this has probably been Tilmon's worst year.
This isn't meant to diminish Reed. He's playing his best basketball and has filled in admirably. But it is meant to maybe pump the brakes a little bit on the "Tilmon is awful and we are better without him" narrative.
