a few interesting takes...

He is really fired up about Bob Bowlsby and how he was either lying at B12 media days, or he was completely unaware anything was going on... both of which should be fire able offenses. He also eludes to the idea that ESPN wanted this so they can get rid of the B12 contract and have more money for other conferences. If that is the case, that is not illegal, but it is bad faith. Also in bad faith, he believes teXas had this in mind all along... that when the B12 talked about expansion and teXas said no... and their partners (TTech, Ou and Baylor) all voted against expansion, it would be so they could keep the money they had until they were ready to bolt. When ESPN/FOX refused to renegotiate, teXas said "I'm out."
He seems to believe there is a path for the remaining teams to survive... especially if they get a commissioner who can head up the expansion, be visionary, and be aggressive.
In my mind, the B12 did this to themselves believing that they had a good and strong relationship between programs. They hid from the reality we all saw/see... you can hear it when they are talking about this subject even now. They just never believed it would all come down, or that teXas and Ou would leave them.
It's going to be interesting to see how this shakes out...
