Last year, we started off with some convincing wins - beating Maryland-Eastern Shore big and beating a decent Wofford team. We then played Xavier tough again, but then this followed:
Lost by 24 to a really mediocre to bad Kansas State team
Lost by 5 to a mediocre Northwestern team
Then played very bad basketball in wins against Arkansas State, Northern Illinois, and Omaha before losing by a million to Arizona, losing to a mediocre NC State team, and losing to a mediocre Illinois team.
Tomorrow is critical to see where Mizzou basketball has come since last year.
Can they beat a decent Davidson team (Kenpom 78)?
If Kim is going to be the coach next year, you have to think that we've got to beat the Davidsons and Western Kentuckys of the schedule. I think the SEC will be littered with Kenpom 80-175 teams and those two (and Illinois) should give us an indication of how we'll fare in the SEC.
