It will be interesting if this is true. Honestly, if I were a projected 1st round draft pick I would skip this season, take out an insurance policy, and train for the combine.

Imagine Covid attacking your lungs and you lose a step bc you don’t have the breath, poof there goes your NFL dream.

In my opinion, for the top players the risk isn’t worth the reward of playing this season.
