Okay, let's get this going.

*First, if you somehow missed it, Javon Foster committed last night. He will sign next week.

*Chad Bailey will take no other visits. I presume he will sign in December, but do not know that for certain.

*Eddie Smith told me he will wait to sign in February. He enjoyed his trip to Columbia and will visit TCU (where he is still currently committed) this weekend. If I had to put money on it, I think he sticks with the Horned Frogs, but not signing in December may help the Tigers.

*Jatorian Hansford told Sean last night he has rescheduled his official visit for this coming weekend. It will be a surprise if he does not commit.

*Talked to Davion Taylor last night. He told me his final three are Missouri, Colorado (where he's currently committed) and Ole Miss. He said Baylor is trying to get him to campus, but at this point he's not going to take that trip. He said he will inform the coaching staffs of his decision this weekend and make a public announcement and sign during the December 20-22 signing period.

"I really like everything about all three of them," Taylor said. "I like the facilities at Mizzou and Colorado better, but I'm not too worried about the facilities. I'm going to look at the academics. This week I'm going to do a little research on the schools, what kind of clubs they have, what kinds of things they have to do on campus."

Tough to handicap this one. He's committed to Colorado. Ole Miss is the home state school. Mizzou is kind of the outlier but impressed him last weekend (he said he's mostly talked to Barry Odom and Brian Odom).

*Another linebacker prospect, Gerald Nathan Jr., will visit this weekend. He's a Colorado State commit. It will be either Mizzou or CSU for him.

*Mizzou would take both two of the three I think. They'll certainly take Hansford, who they've led for for a long time. I think it will come down to Nathan or Taylor for the other linebacker spot. Not sure if there's a preference there or if they'd just take the first one who wanted to jump on board. Haven't heard back from Sh'Mar Kilby-Lane on whether he's rescheduled his visit from last weekend, so the opportunity may have passed there.

*Some interesting news late last night. I had texted Verdis Brown a couple of weeks ago to see if there was truth he was looking at Missouri again.

He replied "Yes, I might take an official."

Brown was a Florida State commit. We'd heard Illinois was the leader after he decommitted. His Rivals profile does not show any official visits to this point. He may have taken some, but we don't have them. He tweeted this yesterday:

So if Brown's seriously considering Missouri, the visit has to pretty much happen this weekend. Interim offensive line coach Jon Cooper is supposed to see him today.

*Cooper was in Brooklyn yesterday visiting Johncarlo Valentin who visited this weekend. That's a signal they really like him. Not sure there's room for both Valentin and Brown, so it might come down to who jumps on board first or who the staff likes better.

*The Odoms were in Texas last night for an in-home visit with commitment Kam Scott.

That's the recruiting info we have this morning. Now a couple of notes on the team:

*I'd look for a decision out of Drew Lock in the days after the Texas Bowl. I would think no later than the first week of January based on what I've been told. Not sure if he has his evaluation back from the NFL or not at this point. My guess is that Lock and the coaching staff has a pretty good idea what he's going to do, but he won't go public for another 2-3 weeks.

*On the offensive coordinator front, ideally Missouri will have one before the bowl game. That's the goal. Whether it happens is less certain. Here are the guys that are at least somewhat in the mix right now.

There are a number of candidates being explored. At least five, but I think fewer than ten. We know Dan Enos is one of them, we know Graham Harrell is one. Sonny Dykes, Hugh Freeze and Jeff Traylor are out. Sterlin Gilbert's name has been mentioned around here a lot, but I'm not sure if he's on the radar at this point in time. I'm confident there are at least three or four names out there I don't have right now and I'm going to spend some time today trying to track down some info.

*Missouri also has to hire an offensive line coach and a linebackers coach. There are just too many other things going on for me to worry about that quite yet. We'll get to it if the spots haven't been filled soon, but right now, I've simply not made any inquiries on where things stand there.
