In years past, I couldn't bring myself to read the post-game PM threads after a loss. It was better to stay away for a few days while all the nay-sayers ranted. It hurt too much to click and read.
Tonight, I turned a corner. I can read the board without cringing. I can browse through posts without ruining my evening.
In some ways, it's a good thing--my blood pressure is lower. But in reality, it sucks because it means I don't expect my team to win any more. And that's a horrible way to feel.
Two more home games. We will be there. We will stay to sing the alma mater. And we will wait and hope for a return of the nights when losing hurts too much to read PM after the game.
