One appears to have many, many casualties (41 dead, 40+ injured).
The other one is reported to have just 7 dead. Fortunately, a Friday prayer goer had brought a weapon with him to the mosque and returned fire immediately, ending the threat at that location.

The shooter recorded a 17-minute video of himself driving around, entering the mosque and killing people, going back to his car for another gun, re-entering the church, killing more people, driving to another church, etc. He apparently broadcast this on Facebook Live. A 28-year old Aussie native who says he was motivated by an intent to stir up discord in the US over the 2nd Amendment. Dude, we don't care. Do you not watch our news? What an asshole.
The NYT originally did not report the defensive gunfire at the second location even well after it was known. It's finally in their story now. I bet they were pissed.
