So I just purchased a new vehicle, with what I consider a beautiful, artistic front grille. The thought of desecrating the grille with an ugly Missouri license plate makes me ill. After researching it, several suggestions were presented on a possible temporary solution. I'm sure all of them are most likely in vain, but if anyone has experience, or knowledge, please weigh in.
Keep it in the front of the car, and when pulled over, use the "it fell off" excuse, and need new screws to refasten.
Buy a dark tinted cover for it, to at least reduce the ugliness.
Keep it in the front windshield area.

I realize this will most likely get me a ticket, however will this make me more of a target, or is this something most LEO's don't care too much about?
