I think most of us can agree Michael Cox has looked intriguing in VERY LIMITED action. I actually think the coaches had planned to give him more work. But here's the rub. Logistics. You need Tyler Badie to get touches. He is by far the best weapon this offense has (right now). You also need Elijah Young to get touches so he can grow (hopefully) into a role closer to Badie's next year.
I think going into CMU that the coaches hoped to be able to get into the 3rd rotation (Cox, Downing, etc). It didn't happen. Honestly, I doubt if they were happy with the # of touches that Young got, much less anyone else. Kentucky was Kentucky. SEMO you start to see some things as far as how they would like it to progress.
Here's the rub. Unless the defense improves, it is unlikely you will see anything much different than what you have saw in the first two weeks. Badie, sprinkled with Young in places.
IF the defense steps up (I actually think they can take steps, it's obvious they aren't figuring out the reads early enough or at all...did that improve against SEMO? or was it just manhandling them?), then I think you will start to see a little more Young and some sightings of Michael Cox... This is of course, assuming he has picked up the plays and has progressed well enough in his pass protection responsibilities.

Next year is going to be interesting. I think.. obviously early, but we might see a three-back rotation.
