The next few weeks will be quite a busy time for the Tiger Club of Kansas City and should provide some good programming for the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Next Tuesday, December 5, at our regular time and place, the club will welcome back one of our most popular guest speakers, Jon Sundvold.
Then, next Thursday, December 7, we will have the first of several special meting on Zoom. at 7:00 p.m., we will have as our guest, Danny Heitert, to talk about all things related to high school prospects and Mizzou commitments.
On Tuesday, December 12, again at the Westport Flea Market, our guest will be longtime Kansas City Star sports columnists and now Kansas City Royals Vice President, Sam Mellinger.
The next special Zoom meeting will be on Thursday, December 14, at 7:00 p.m. and will feature Mike DeCourcy, head basketball writer for The Sporting News. Mike traveled to Pittsburgh this week to scout out the Tigers in anticipation for his Tiger Club appearance.
And to close out the month (we're taking December 26 and January 2 off for the holidays) our guest at the Flea Market on Tuesday, December 19 will be Anne Rogers, Missouri Journalism graduate and presently the Royals beat writer for MLB.com.
