Enough are vaccinated and enough have natural immunity that we should either be done with this thing this winter or we will never be done with it.

Im watching North Dakota, Montana, South Dakota, etc. as Fall creeps in, but weather is unseasonably warm for the north right now (70s and 80s in the upper midwest).

We should have a good idea where we stand by end of October.

Israel, UAE, etc. data makes me thing that we may not be done, but the number of people who have tested positive in USA plus vaccinated tells me that we are probably close to be done, so my prediction is that we have a winter wave, but its peak will be about half what we had this summer.

I think we peak at 125K new cases/day probably in January.

With that said, I think this will be a rough year for other sicknesses. I think lockdowns and mask rules diminish at first and we have a very severe flu season, so I think Hospitals will still be overrun.
