SEC commissioner is here for the game. He was asked about speculation the SEC could get rid of teams. “The absurdity of that knows no bounds…It’s not even on our radar”
Sankey said they need to move sooner rather than later on eight games vs nine. Said they could make a decision as soon as this fall. Talked about the discussion being some games maybe being sacrificed on an annual basis, but the frequency of rotating through the whole league increasing.
Said that the OU/UT entry into the league really has to be resolved between those schools and the Big 12 before the SEC is involved
