It has begun. I'm a technical sales guy. My business is more technical then just selling. I have already had my first project cancellation because of Coronavirus. The prospect called and said he wanted to cancel the visit because I travel quite a bit, and am probably exposed to lots of people, so he didn't want to see me or anyone else in person because of he Coronavirus. . He suggested a skype call instead. Im hearing that many companies are cutting way back on travel and holding video meetings instead of face to face contact. Once we go down this path and companies get used to doing business this way I doubt travel will ever pick up to the pre Coronavirus level. Traveling to business meetings that involve airfare, hotel and rental auto may become a thing of the past.
