They hire the best coaches they can and pay them handsomely. Facilities are second to none, massive recruiting hotbed, rabid fanbase that borders on being a cult, monster donor base... Yet they somehow end up right around 8-4 more often than not. Anyone have an idea why? Doesn't seem like the Jimbo Fisher/Bobby Petrino combo is producing the desired results.
Well, it looks like Texas 8&4 is holding true to form. Why can't they get over the hump?
