I have no problem setting up for fg to win, my issue is couldnt we accomplish samething by trying to score? Why not hand it off to peat twice and see what you get? Sure he could fumble but so could have cook cause as he wasn’t protected on those plays. Is it just as simple as he wanted to ensure Auburn had no time left to drive?
