Seems like a fairly intelligent guy with a big personality that recruits well. Presumably, he is ambitious and wants to be successful.
Which begs the question, did he really think Cook was his best option coming off last season? Yes, he brought in Garcia but he has been MIA. Yes, he allegedly brought in OC who seems to have just borrowed his playbook. But why spend all this time and effort trying to recruit high level talent if you can’t do that at the most important position on the field? Does he really think he can dink and dunk his way to a 8 win season. Just doesn’t make sense.
