Beyond belief at what has happened this season. Just an absolute meltdown. What are reasonable courses of action to take?
1. Fire Wilks?
2. Apologize to the fans?
3. Call all potential recruits and try to tell them it really isn't as bad as it looks?
4. Scrap the season and play all young kids?
5. Pray for a COVID outbreak and hopefully not play Georgia, Florida, A & M, and Arkansas?
Not trying to be funny or sarcastic. I think given the expectations that Drink and the fans had prior to the start of the season, this is the low point in M U football as far as I am concerned. I have watched M U football since the early 1960s and have witnessed some bad football, but aside from the 77-0 Oklahoma debacle this is a new low. It is apparent that in addition to an obvious lack of talent that this may be the poorest coached team in D1 football.
