Saturday is game day so obviously the talk here is going to be focused around that. But it's also the 20th anniversary of what I think all of us would say was one of the most significant days of our lives. Thought it would be interesting to hear some stories and memories about where everyone was, how you found out what was going on, etc.
My wife and I (we'd been married for about two and a half months) both worked in TV news in Rapid City, SD. She was getting ready to go in for her reporting shift, I didn't usually go in till about 2 pm. We got a call from our assignment editor saying she needed to get in ASAP and we turned on the TV to watch everything unfold. The news people worked quite hard the next few days. We didn't have sports on the news that night and I think for a few nights after that.
Obviously one of a handful of moments that almost everyone remembers exactly where they were. Thought it might be an interesting conversation to hear some stories from others.
