Here's why - the conference make-up.
You go to Ol' Miss or Arky and you have to beat LSU, Bama, and Auburn EVERY YEAR just to get to the conference championship game. Not to mention A&M when/if they get a little better.
Not to mention UGA potentially during the regular season and/or in the Champ. game.
Basically getting to the Playoff is impossible at those two places. you have to have at least 5 wins over perennial powerhouses.
At Mizzou, you have to beat UGA and get a favorable schedule every couple of years with the West division. Hell, we already won the division twice in 10 years.
